GETTING INVESTMENT CERTIFICATE

HOW TO GET INVESTMENT CERTIFICATE IN RWANDA

Investment  certificate issued to any person wishing to carry out business in Rwanda.

Also, it is issued by Rwanda Development Board (R.D.B) at cost of $500.

REQUIREMENTS FOR INVESTMENT CERTIFICATE IN RWANDA

• A filled investment registration application form;
• A certificate of incorporation;
• A business plan
• A project environmental impact assessment certificate;
• The projected number of employees and categories of employments;
• A proof of payment of non-refundable registration fee;

DURATION FOR APPLICATION

Application  takes 2 days.

Furthermore, it  is valid for a period of five  years.

Upon expiration of 5 years one has to apply for renewal of the certificate.

FEES FOR APPLICATION OF CERTIFICATE

Official fees for certificate is $500.

Professional fees or lawyers or real-estate agent may range above $1000
